Fernando Serrano
Baroque guitar

Born in Toledo in 1968. He completed his Upper Studies Guitar at the Conservatory Padre Antonio Soler of San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid), where he also began to study ancient plucked string instruments and basso continuo with Jesús Sanchez and later at the Conservatory Cristóbal Morales of Seville with Professor Juan Carlos Rivera. He obtained his Early Music degree at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid with Professors José Miguel Moreno and Juan Carlos de Mulder.

He has attended numerous courses given by specialists in Early Music, including most notably Eligio Quinteiro, John Griffiths, Paul O'Dette and Hopkinson Smith.

As a performer collaborates regularly with several groups specializing in Renaissance and Baroque music such as Lachrymae or Extempore, with whom he has given recitals in important Spanish venues such as Christmas Festival of Madrid, Early Music Week Antonio de Cabezón in Burgos or the Early Music Festival in Úbeda-Baeza.
